Blackjack Basic Strategy

Since the game of blackjack is in part a game of skill and not pure luck, a good blackjack player can change the casino's normal edge by playing with a good strategy/system, and can even on occasion gain an edge over the casino. Depending of what card you have and what card has the dealer, the basic strategy tells you what are the best decisions you can take on your hand.

A blackjack player can take a blackjack strategy card with him in a casino and its very probable that the dealer wont ask him to stop using it; off course only if he don't slow down the game when he looks for informations in it. Anyway, if the strategy card is used when playing online, that's even better and if the player wont want to look like a rookie in the casino, the online casino is the most preferred place to use it.

Bad Blackjack Strategies

Developing a winning blackjack strategy takes time and energy. Many Blackjack players are not very good at it. Some players even use strategies which they are sure will give them an edge, but in fact aren't any good.

Counting Cards

This is a strategy hard to manage even by the experienced players. The basics what happens when you're counting cards is that you keep in mind an accurate record of the cards that have been played. This allows you to have a relatively good idea of which cards remain in the shoe.
