Bonus Blackjack

In order to play Bonus Blackjack you have to place a Bonus bet first. In Bonus Blackjack only 2 decks of cards are used and the cards are re-shuffled after every hand.

The goal of the game is just as in standard games. The hand closest to 21 wins the game. If you go over 21 you lose automatically. You can't play multiple hands at a time.

Remember that you get a Blackjack if the first two cards dealt to you are an Ace and a 10 valued card.

Payout Schedule

If you get a Blackjack in Bonus Blackjack the house will reward you with a pay ratio of 3-to-2. This means that if your betting amount is 30 credits and you get a Blackjack you will receive 45 (your win amount) + 30 (your initial bet) = 75 credits.

Getting a ten valued card over a split Ace is considered 21, not Blackjack. Win ratio in this case is 1-to-1. For example if your betting amount is 50 credits and you beat the house you will be paid 50 (your win amount) + 50 (your initial bet) = 100 credits.

Insurances are paid at a ratio of 2-to-1. This means that if you have an insurance of 20 credits (half your initial bet) and the dealer gets a Blackjack, you will win 40 credits, but loose your initial bet.

Bonus Payout Schedule

Depending on you first two cards combination, the Bonus Payout Schedules differ. There are several winning combinations:

  • Bonus hand combinations pay odds;

  • A combination of a Jack and an Ace of Spades pays 50-to-1;

  • A combination of a Jack and an Ace of the same suit, but not of Spades, pays 25-to-1;

  • Two cards of the same suit pay 5-to-2.

Game rules for Bonus Blackjack:

  • In Bonus Blackjack only 2 decks of cards are used and the cards are re-shuffled after every hand;

  • American game played with the entire deck of cards;

  • The dealer is allowed to look at his face down card if his face up card is an Ace or a ten valued card;

  • The game is over if the dealer has a Blackjack;

  • Blackjack is the best hand and will beat all other hands, including a 21;

  • Face cards (Jacks. Queens and Kings) are valued at 10;

  • Aces are valued either as 1 or 11;

  • You are not allowed to draw more than nine cards. If you have been dealt a total of 11 cards and the total value of your cards is still under 21, you must stand and let the dealer play his hand;

  • The dealer will always hit if the total value of his cards is 17, but is showing an Ace in his hand (soft 17).

Betting and Payout rules:

  • You will win automatically if the dealer busts;

  • If your first two cards are an Ace and a ten valued card, you have a Blackjack. This is the best hand in the game and it pays 3-to-2. You can't lose the game; it can only end in a tie or a push;

  • A push is when the total value of the cards in your hand is equal to the hand of the dealer. The game is a tie and you get your initial bet back;

  • The game is also a push when both players get a Blackjack. The game is a tie and you get your initial bet back.

Splitting rules

You are allowed to split cards of the same denomination. You will then have two hands to play. For the second hand you must place a bet equal to the one on the first hand. Getting a ten valued card over a split Ace counts as 21 and not as Blackjack. Getting an Ace over a split ten valued card also counts as 21. You are allowed to re-split 3 times, thus having a maximum of 4 different hands to play. You can split Aces only once, and after splitting you will only get one more card. After that your hand must stand.

Double Down Rules

You may double your betting amount only after the first two cards have been dealt. Split hands can also be Doubled Down. The Double Down amount is always equal to the initial betting amount.

Insurance Rules

Just as in standard Blackjack, if the dealer's face up card is an Ace and you think he'll get a Blackjack, you can use half your initial bet to buy insurance. When you have insurance the outcome of the game (win or lose) does not depend on your initial bet. If you have insurance but the dealer doesn't get a Blackjack you lose your insurance credit and the game goes on according to the rules. If you are right and the dealer gets a Blackjack your insurance bet has a win ratio of 2-to-1.

Bonus Rules

If you want to play Bonus Blackjack you have to place a Bonus side bet first. Only then will you be able to qualify for the Bonus round. According to the combinations of cards in your hand you get different pay ratios.
