Only a few Online Casinos offer you the chance to play High Limit Blackjack. That is because in this type of game the betting limits are considerably higher. If a normal Blackjack Game can go as high as $300, in a High Limit Casino you can bet as much as $2500.
When you play Blackjack against a computer, both you and the computer are initially dealt 2 cards. The purpose of the game is to get as close to 21 as possible, but not go over. To win the value of your cards must be greater than that of your opponent. All cards have a value. Face cards are worth as much as their face. Jacks, Kings and Queens are all worth 10. Aces have a double value, either 1 or 11.
If your cards are closer to 21 than your opponent's you will win the game. The same applies in his case. If your opponent's cards are closer to 21 than yours, then he wins. If there is a tie, the game is pushed and you will get your bet back. The purpose of the game is to get as close as possible to 21. If you go over 21 you lose. The game is bust and you will loose your bet, even if the dealer also busts.

How to play High Limit Blackjack
When playing Blackjack you have to use 8 decks of cards. One deck has 52 cards. All the cards used in a hand are re-shuffled.
All cards have a certain value. Cards from 2-10 are valued as indicated. All face cards (Jacks, Queens and Kings) are valued at 10. Aces are valued at 1 or 11. The value taken in consideration will be the best value for the hand. The value of the players hand will be the combined values of the individual cards. A hand with a King, a 2 and a 3 will have a value of 15.
To Start: Once you place a bet at the Blackjack table the game starts. You are initially dealt only two cards face up. The dealer also deals himself two cards, but one is face down. Now that you have been dealt your cards, you can do one of these actions by simply left clicking the icon:
Hit: ask the dealer to give you another card. Ask him for as many cards as you want, but be careful not to go over 21 and lose the game.
Stand: If you have a good hand and you're happy with it then you needn't ask the dealer for any more cards. Keep this hand and see if any of the other players or the dealer can beat it.
Split: When you are dealt two cards with the same value you have the option of splitting your hand. You now have to hands to play, but must place a second bet, equal to the one of the first hand. You will be dealt as many cards as you want on your two hands but not if you split aces. If you split two Aces, you will only get one extra card per Ace. Also, if you are dealt a ten or a face card and an Ace it will be considered 21, because it is a split hand and it will be beaten by a Blackjack. Winning 21s pay 1-to-1. You can't re-split a hand that has already been split.
Double Down: Another option after being dealt your first two cards is to double down. If you do so your betting amount will be doubled, but the dealer will give you only one more card and then you have to stand and see if your hand beats the dealer.
Insurance: You have the option of buying insurance only if the dealer's first up card is an ace. So if your gut, instinct or skill tells you that the dealer will get a Blackjack, just click the "Insurance" icon. If not, just click "Pass" and go on with the hand.
It is important to remember that you need to buy insurance only if you think the dealer will get a natural Blackjack (an ace and a ten). If you're right and he does get a natural Blackjack your insurance will pay 2-to-1, but unfortunately you will lose your initial bet. If both dealer and you get a Blackjack, your initial bet will be pushed. If the dealer doesn't get a ten, then he doesn't have a Blackjack and the game continues as usual. You will loose your insurance, but winning the hand means that you'll get back your initial bet plus the profit. For example getting a natural Blackjack pays 3-to-2.
Betting limits - When playing High Limit Blackjack the minimum ante is only 1$, but the maximum allowed bet is 2500$.
Betting: Above your user label, at the bottom of the screen you will find your chips. Chips have different values ($1, $5, $25, $100, $500) and are sorted by denomination. Simply right click on the chip with the value you want to bet. Also if you want to increase or decrease your betting amount simply place the mouse over the stack you want to add or subtract from your bet. Left clicking a pile will add to your betting amount and right clicking your mouse button will lower it.
If you get a Blackjack (an Ace and a 10 value card) you win the game and get paid at a 3-to-2 ratio. This means that if your betting amount is 30 credits and you get a Blackjack you will receive 45 (your win amount) + 30 (your initial bet) = 75 credits.
If you beat the house but do not have a Blackjack the pay ratio is 1-to-1. For example if your betting amount is 50 credits and you beat the house you will be paid 50 (your win amount) + 50 (your initial bet) = 100 credits
Insurances are paid at a ratio of 2-to-1. This means that if you have an insurance of 20 credits (half your initial bet) and the dealers gets a Blackjack, you will win 40 credits but loose your initial bet.
Blackjack Terms
21 -the total value of the cards in your hand amounts to 21. Note that if you have a Ten of Diamonds, a Three of Spades and an Eight of Clubs, the total value of your cards is 21, but this is not Blackjack. Also remember that Blackjack will always beat a 21.
Advanced Blackjack Strategy Table - You have the option of using the AutoPlay. Its default strategy is already set to give the player an edge. At the Advanced Blackjack Strategy Table you can set the default AutoPlay strategy. You can keep the preset one or make your own.
Blackjack - When you are dealt an Ace a 10 or any other card equal to a ten you have a Blackjack. Blackjack is the best hand and will always win. You cannot win against a Blackjack; you can only push the game.
Bust - If the total value of the cards dealt to you exceeds 21 you are bust. You will lose your hand and your betting amount.
Denomination - The value attributed to the cards in the deck. Remember that Jacks, Queens and Kings are valued at 10, and Aces are either 1 or 11.
Double Down - If the total value of your hand is 9, 10 or 11 you have the option of doubling your bet. This will give you the chance of winning up to four times your initial betting amount. The catch is that after doubling you are only dealt one more card, and with this hand you must beat the dealer's.
Hit - If your hand is not good enough to beat the dealer you can ask him for another card. The dealer will give you another card, but be careful not to go over 21.
Insurance - When the dealer's first up card is an Ace and you think he will have a Blackjack you can put half your betting amount aside as insurance. If you also have a Blackjack you do not need insurance, the game is pushed.
Push- The total value of your hand is equal to the dealer's hand. You will get your initial bet back.
Split- If you are dealt a pair (not to cards of the same value) you can split your hand. You will have two hands to play, but will also have to double your initial bet by placing another bet on your second hand. The bet on your second hand must be equal to the bet on your first hand. Split hands are played according to standard Blackjack rules.
Stand- If you are happy with your hand and confident that you can win you can stand. You will not be dealt any more cards. After the dealer plays his hand the player closest to 21 wins.
Value - Each card in the deck has a certain denomination. For example face cards are counted as10, and Aces are 1 or 11.
