Strategy Card

The strategy charts below can be applied on a game played with only one deck and in which the dealer must stand on all 17 cards, you can choose to double after you split and also you can double down on any two cards. In this game the option to surrender is not available.

Quick Guide:

  • Soft Totals Chart
  • Splitting Pairs Chart

Hard Totals

A hand that contains an Ace, but which has to be counted as a 1. For example if a player has an Ace and a 5, if he hits for another card and the third card received is a 9, the Ace will have to be counted as 1 for the total to be under 21, so his hand will be a hard 15 (Ace, 5, 9).

Splitting Pairs

This can only be done when the first two cards dealt are of the same value. Depending on the total, you may want to split the two cards and play each hand individually. If you choose to do so, you must place a bet equal to your original on the table. If you get a matching pair of cards, you have the option to hit, stand, double down, or to split. Surrendering is also an option if available, but not advised.
